The children within Acorns learn by exploring all that is on offer around them. In this room children are provided lots of opportunity to learn through play and participate in a variety of exciting activities based on their interest. This includes sensory, messy, imaginative, constructive and physical play. We provide plenty of opportunities for children to learn essential skills on how to play alongside and together with each other, sharing resources, toys and building vital relationships. Children have free flow access to the outside area which consists of an undercover area and a large purpose built garden for them to enjoy. We really enjoy being outdoors in all weathers and children are provided with outdoor clothing to wear so they can experience this the whole year regardless of the weather. The room has its own bathroom which consists of 3 age appropriate toilets and a nappy changing area. Plus we have a pop up sleeping area should children need that time to rest and re-energise.
